My media niche is related to self-care, which includes modern approaches to self-care, including physical, mental and emotional health. All this is very important for modern realities and full-fledged human development. Below is my field map of this niche, which shows the platforms, audience, content, devices of this niche, and so on. I didn’t change anything in my field map.

I was born in a country where self-care is highly appreciated. But most often I met people on my way who only care about their outer shell, forgetting about their inner state, hiding stress, body clamps, nerves, and so on under a beautiful mask. But in the process of my growth and observation of the media space, I realized that in order to fully pump my potential, it is important to take care not only of the external part of our body but also of the internal, of course including regular visits to doctors, and of course meditation, yoga, reading and so on. Now I am striving for more conscious self-care in order to achieve an external and internal balance.
While exploring the niche of self-care, I watched various videos on YouTube and of course watched videos on the vogue channel https://youtu.be/O_qgaOUR3Fo?si=iD1fMRaa8_2DSRjD
(I often use their YouTube channel to discover different life hacks about self-care that celebrities use) with Hailey Bieber.

Going into the comments, I found that firstly, people have now become more appreciative of natural beauty, as there is now more and more propaganda about naturalness and more about how beautiful it looks without makeup and plastic surgery. It also suggests that every year people finally began to see the inner work on themselves, on their mental state, so that «the skin glows not from the highlighter but from happiness.»

I also want to note that I saw a comment that Hayley looks calmer and more reasonable than other celebrities.

This comment prompted me to learn more about how Haley Bieber monitors her mental health, after which I found her interview «The truth about mental health & social media A Conversation With Guest Dr. Jess Clemons — Part I» with a psychologist. https://youtu.be/n-IkC5biRho?si=JFDKl3VkrIweAenI

I want to point out the important points that people notice in this interview and which are very important for our mental health and self-care.

After this video, I became interested in this psychologist and went to her on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/askdrjess/profilecard/?igsh=MXE5bmJpcHBrOTA1MQ==
Where she came across a challenge that lasts 21 days, the purpose of which is to fill her life with a sense of satisfaction. In the comments, people also point out the effectiveness of this method to Jessica for her methods.

I tried to use her advice for a few days and I want to note that I have a greater sense of lightness and awareness, as well as decreased anxiety.
Moreover i want to join the comments, from personal experience I learned that first of all we should take care of our own lives, not the lives of others, and should not write bad comments while feeling aggression and stress. for some time I studied psychology and NLP, where on the very first module I learned the term «map is not a territory», which implies that all people are different and we never know what path they went to find themselves in this moment and we have no right to judge them for something and try on their lives for ourselves. Knowing this, I noticed for myself that I began to worry less, condemn, experience stress, and began to pay more attention to myself and my mental health.
I analyzed the article «Factors associated with self-esteem, resilience, mental health, and psychological self-care among university students in Northern Thailand», which describes the importance of incorporating self-care practices and how they help students cope with academic and social pressures, reducing the risk of anxiety and depression. Maintaining social ties, focusing on health, and regularly taking care of our psychological state are things that we must clearly apply in our self-care in order to become a full-fledged healthy member of society.
Moreover, the authors of the article «Examining the relationship between self-care and compassion fatigue in mental health professionals: A critical review.» It is noted that self–care is not just about rest, but also important habits such as setting boundaries and physical activity. These practices help to cope with burnout and maintain emotional balance. Such tips are also useful for students: by developing healthy habits and taking care of their emotional state, you can avoid overwork in your studies.
